"The first wealth is health."
Ralph Waldo Emerson
Maintaining one's health is a long-time passion for Deb
Villarese, who established a successful Shaklee business in
1981. Now, with just over 2 decades of seeing the health,
beauty and wellness that the Shaklee products create, Deb
was inspired to re-name her company. She is proud to introduce
Bella Well Lifestyles, featuring an array of home and health
products for every aspect of your daily life from the Shaklee
Company. Just like Deb, Shaklee 'walks the talk', which
is why she is thrilled to help share their message.
Almost 30 years ago, Deb's young son was diagnosed with
asthma and suffered five bouts of pneumonia before his first
birthday! Through deductive reasoning and extensive research,
she learned of the negative impact that the toxic chemicals
found in many of her household items could have on a person…including
asthma and a breakdown of the immune system. Not one for subtlety,
she conducted a complete overhaul of her home - every cleaner,
detergent and other harmful, chemical-based item was banished.
These were replaced with healthy, natural alternatives from
the Shaklee
Company. The family noticed an immediate improvement.
Once the cause of her son's asthma was discovered, she knew
she then had to treat the problem. Her son starting taking
a daily multi-vitamin and mineral supplement, also from Shaklee.
Guess what? Within a short time, he was a healthy kid again.
Today, that kid is an airline captain and a successful business
owner.
Deb's clients also have motivating stories similar to her
own. It's the wonderful people behind these stories that inspire
Deb to continue to share the Shaklee philosophy with those
who want health and longevity for themselves and their families.
In addition to her son's asthma, Deb has seen other issues
such as allergies, eczema, diabetes, fatigue, high cholesterol,
obesity and high blood pressure brought to manageable levels,
and in some cases, eliminated entirely. According to the American
Lung Association (www.lungusa.org),
an estimated 6.5 million children suffer from asthma. It's
the third leading cause for hospitalizations for children
under the age of 15. According to the American Heart Association
(www.americanheart.org),
1 in 3 adults are living with high blood pressure and many
of them don't know it. Deb and her family are proof-positive
that making a few simple changes can mean the difference between
coping with illness, or living life to the fullest and getting
the most of each day.
Deb's clients come from all walks of life and a few of them
wanted to share their Shaklee stories. Do you see any similarities
between these folks, and yourself?
